Accessibility Statement

AIONA Ltd wants everyone to be able to use the AIONA website and application, whatever technology they rely on. This statement covers the marketing website (aionatech.com) and the AIONA application, and describes where we are today — honestly, including the parts that are not yet where we want them.

1. Our standard

We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, consistent with our duty to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.

2. What already works

Keyboard access: the application's dialogs use focus traps, modals close on Esc, and primary flows (upload → review → approve) are operable without a mouse, including keyboard shortcuts for common actions.
Semantic structure: headings, landmarks and form labels are used throughout; icon-only controls carry aria-labels.
Colour is never the only signal: confidence tiers (green/amber/red) always pair colour with a text label.
Responsive layout: both sites work at 400% zoom / narrow viewports without horizontal scrolling of body content.
Motion: decorative animations respect visibility and do not convey essential information.

3. Known limitations

We are still improving, and the following are known gaps we are working through:

Some data-dense tables in the application (journal line editors, reconciliation match lists) are not yet fully optimised for screen readers.
A small number of low-contrast secondary texts identified in our 2026 interface audit are still being brought up to AA contrast.
PDF documents you upload are presented as-is; we cannot guarantee the accessibility of customer-supplied source documents.
This statement has not yet been backed by an external accessibility audit; testing to date is internal.

4. Feedback and getting help

If you cannot access any part of the Service, or you find an accessibility problem not listed above, contact support@aionatech.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to provide the information you need in an accessible format where we reasonably can.

5. Enforcement

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not happy with our response, you can escalate through our Complaints Procedure. The Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can also advise on rights under the Equality Act 2010.

6. Review

We review this statement whenever the interface changes materially, and at least every 12 months.
